Expert Witness

Our expert team members have years of experience and knowledge about specific industry verticals.

Specifically in countries with common law such as Australia, the UK or USA, an Expert Witness is a person whose expertise and skills matter in the form of education qualifications, training, experience, or certification (scientific, technical or professional) and it is accepted as an expert during a litigation process by the judge in the court or by the government. This opinion from expert witness may be considered as evidence or fact referring to the area of expertise of witness. It is not necessary that it is accepted and may be refuted by testimonies or opinions from other experts, other evidence or facts.

Our role is we can be presented as an Expert Witness if you and our team collectively consider that it is going to be objectively helpful in your litigation or dispute resolution process; however our role is never to function as an advocate or favour for one side or the other !

We may explain complicated issues but not to influence the jury or judge. The main responsibility of expert witness is to evaluate potential problems, defects, deficiencies, or errors and to fully analyse an event, process or system to make an expert call on the entire situation or disagreement, or draw all involved parties attention to a missing condition, understanding, fact or a perspective.

Expert Witnesses are normally called to testify under the assumption that all necessary preparations for a competent assessment or evaluation of the process have been made.
